Reemarkable Legally Henree Cherron Wright, ReeMarkable uses music to give others a fighting chance. More than a rapper, she is a true visionary. The Decatur native started off at an early age making a deep connection with lyrics. She also has a strong bond with the Zone 6 area of Atlanta, from her music to her views on life. At the age of 6 her great grandmother made her perform at her daughter’s restaurant opening, and that would set the stage for her future. She told ReeMarkable that she had a gift. One that surpasses songs, she had the gift to transform others just by her presence. That night as a nervous child repeated the same lyrics over and over, she noticed how in touch the audience seemed to be. ReeMarkable knew from that point on that what her great grandmother told her was correct. Since then she has used her passion to continue to help impact anyone she comes in contact with.

Student "sold" in mock slave auction at school in NJ A New Jersey school district is under fire for the second time this month after a substitute teacher allowed fifth-graders to “sell” a fellow student during a mock slave auction that was filmed. The incident was reported at Jefferson Elementary School in the South Orange Maplewood School District, the same district in which students studying colonial America this month at another school drew slave auction posters and hung them in the school’s hallways. The website said the activity was not part of the curriculum in the South Orange-Maplewood School District.“There was a sale of a black child by white children in the classroom,” Tracey Jarmon-Woods, parent of a student in another class at the school, told CBS New York. “If you’re demoralized — sold on a block in 2017 — it may affect you the rest of your life.” “I’m disgusted, really disgusted a child was bought,” another parent, who was not named, told the station

Nearly $27 million of that was to be earmarked for security at the president’s private residence at Trump Tower in New York, where first lady Melania Trump lives with their 11-year-old son. The Secret Service also said it needed another $33 million to cover travel costs incurred by “the president, vice president and other visiting heads of state.”The Office of Management and Budget rejected the request, a source told the Post, which could potentially force the Secret Service to scale back on other operations, like investigations into cyber hacking, counterfeit currency, financial crimes or missing and exploited minors. The Post

Chance the rapper child support case comes to close Days after coming clean about his business relationship with Apple, Chance the Rapper has finally resolved his child support case. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Chance and his child’s mother Kirsten Corley have come to a deal that’s “fair for their daughter, fair for them both,” according to Chance’s lawyer Tanya Stanish, who said the agreement will leave “substantial parenting time for both.” “Really, that’s the way it should be done,” said Enrico Mirabelli, Corley’s attorney. “And when you settle between yourselves, you leave nothing to chance.” Corley had been seeking temporary child support, a furnished home, and a car to transport the child. Chance will continue to live in the city, though he and Corley will live separately. Chicago Sun-Times is the same publication that wrote a editorial suggesting that Chance’s court issues contradicted his campaign to fund Chicago Public Schools, concluding, “After all,
